volunteers at a clinic

Volunteers are vital to Operation Catnip Stillwater's success!

Operation Catnip Stillwater runs 100% on volunteer work! Our volunteer spots are open to the community, pre-veterinary medicine students, and students already attending OSU-CVHS (Center for Veterinary Health Sciences).

Volunteers for the clinic are matched to their stations based off of skill set and previous Operation Catnip Clinic experience. Volunteers aid Veterinarians and the coordinating staff in clinical duties. Each station is supervised by a station captain and no one will be placed in stations that they are ill equipped to handle.

To sign up for our volunteer emails Click here! If you do not have a gmail account, the link may not work. In that case, feel free to email to request access. You will receive a monthly link with our clinic information for volunteers.

volunteers prepare traps

The Trap Depot also needs volunteers to help dispense and return traps from caregivers. Each Trap Depot shift is 2 hours long. We have multiple days every few weeks out of the month for volunteers to sign up for. The Trap Depot is located behind Stillwater Animal Welfare.

Traps Teams are also a valuable asset to OCS! Volunteers can donate their time to help trap cats the Saturday night before the clinic with out trap teams. Each located is scouted prior to us dispensing traps and coordinators will aid trappers in their duties.
